Chimes proudly introduces Chimes Cheers, the recognition newsletter dedicated to celebrating the talents and achievements of our exceptional team members. Chimes Cheers recognizes our employees who live the five core values of Chimes as witnessed and submitted by their fellow colleagues.
Within each edition, you’ll discover new additions to our team, team member milestones, and be inspired by the remarkable success stories within Chimes.
Through this initiative, we aim to embody our mission, vision, and values, fostering a culture of celebration and gratitude. Together, let us honor our colleagues whose dedication empowers lives and enables the future of individuals with differing abilities.

Linda Wenk goes above and beyond her duties. She encourages, uplifts, redirects and comforts our residents. Whatever they need at the moment, that’s what she is/does! On top of the menu planning & purchasing and cleaning the house. She is a rock star! Can we clone her? – Ed Jones
Leslie Thompson is a fairly new face to the CHIMES family who embodies selflessness, personifies kindness and understanding, and is the epitome of morality. Might I add, that Leslie is a REFRESHING spirit to the family and brings an abundance of calm, fun, and laughter to her entire environment. – Michele Blackwell
Crystal Saunders always greets you with a smile. If you need help, she is there to help. If you have computer problems or you need information, she is willing and able to help. She is a big help to the office and the team and will take on any job given to her, and get it done. Crystal thank you for all your help and support. – Janet L. Bour
Maria Congersky always looks out for her staff and for all the individuals in our department. She is always going above and beyond to make sure everyone is good and has what they need. And if there is ever an issue at a job site she is right there to help correct and fix the issue. – Nicole Strzalkowski

Tyree Gibson comes to work with the best attitude, excited, happy, and eager to do his job. He is the first person to come sing happy birthday to employees on their special day. It’s tough not to smile around him because of his infectious personality. Chimes is very lucky to have him as an employee. – Brent

Ms. Zetseat Jajarso is a super fantastic lady, she is high spirited at all times. Her productivity is so amazing. I adore her offering to help and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will go above and beyond to find it for you. She needs to know that it is many of us that see her, look up to her and believe that Chimes will continue to be successful with her on board. Thank you, Ms. Z, for all that you give! While I was on vacation, Jenni Veasey took over sitting with the residents during their med appointments. Then she checked in the massive inventory of prescriptions for the residents and knocked it out of the park!!! Cheers to Tammy Johnson who has been the best of the best. She has been an extraordinary supporter for me during my two years working for Chimes. Michelle Jenkins goes above and beyond her job description. She takes the initiative to do things that need to be done without being asked. She cooks meals for her clients Monday through Saturday with pleasure. One of her clients expressed to her if that if she ever leaves, he wants to leave also. She teaches her clients the alphabet and numbers by using flash cards. She started teaching her clients how to tie their shoes. She provides a good positive attitude with her clients each and every day.
GO FOR BREAKTHROUGH! The I.T. Department came to the rescue when we had several large Orientation classes scheduled the same week. The classes were going to take place offsite, and 36 computers had to be reconfigured to function off property. Drew Passic spent several days making this happen and did it in plenty of time to start. The whole department was involved, collaborating not IF we could make this happen, but HOW. – L&D Team Members
Cheers to Mary Dockrill for carrying out our EMPOWERED value! Mary continually promotes positive decision-making and accountability when it comes to researching, evaluating, pursuing, tracking, and reporting our grant-funding efforts here at Chimes. – O’Ryan Case

Justine Duffy is currently supporting both Delaware and Holcomb IDD programs. She is helping to get all programs full of individuals and ensuring Holcomb meets new state regulations. She is always helpful to her coworkers and makes time to speak with all individuals she encounters. She is a shining example for all of us here in Delaware on how to handle time management and accomplish a lot within a limited timeframe. – Sarah Booen

HUGE shoutout to Alyssa Turk, our Outpatient Coordinator in Allentown/Easton! She hit the ground running, bringing collaboration and fun to all of our work together! She created a series of “back to basics” trainings for all outpatient staff to support documentation, answer questions, and work with each person to identify ways to resolve issues. She is always willing to help and does so with a positive attitude. We are so happy to have her! – Madeline DiMartini

I’d like to give a shout-out to Dana Winter, as she has been beyond helpful to the Finance team whenever we need it. With all of the activity taking place with all of our entities, it is sometimes hard for us to pinpoint “root causes” of the issues we see. However, with Dana’s expertise with Navision, our company ERP, and her savviness with all the data from other systems, she has offered us quick solutions to our issues. Congratulations to Tyrone Johns, a Chimes DC team member who took part in the SourceAmerica Grassroots Self-Advocacy Conference in Washington, DC! Tyrone, pictured in the tan suit at right, shared details with legislators on how important high–quality employment opportunities are for people with disabilities!

The team at Chimes Delaware recently hosted their annual Division Managers meeting. It was a great day of learning, bonding and finding new ways to collaborate to better support people with disabilities throughout the state.
