Chimes Cheers! recognizes our employees who live the five core values of Chimes as witnessed and submitted by their fellow colleagues.
Within each edition, you’ll be inspired by the remarkable success stories within Chimes.
Through this initiative, we aim to embody our mission, vision, and values, fostering a culture of celebration and gratitude. Together, let us honor our colleagues whose dedication empowers lives and enables the future of individuals with differing abilities.

Alyssia Peterson and Joslyn Brock made Chimes shine at Carlisle with their commitment to excellence. A new arrival to the Army Senior Service College raved about their prompt and thorough support. Their professionalism and efficiency ensured his move was processed smoothly, transforming what is typically a stressful experience into one of ease and confidence. Steve Herring and Matt Chenoweth went above and beyond on this one. With less than 12 hours notice they were able to plan and execute a move of an entire home in Virginia after a sever plumbing issue. Two early mornings and two longs nights, they both stepped up and handled this with thoughtfulness and care, This was unplanned and unexpected. The level of detail on this was amazing even down to placing our individuals trinkets in the same spots as where they were moved from in the last house – Chris Miller
With an issue in Virginia and the local team being down Kathy Tatman really stepped up on this and without hesitation was able to change her entire schedule and come down to Virginia to help oversee Operations. This speaks volumes to the One Chimes mindset. Regardless of state or Subsidiary we are only Chimes! – Chris Miller

Reese (Teresa Miles) has been a breath of fresh air here at 4814 Seton Drive! Anytime you come in the front door, Reese is there with a smile on her face and genuine care for how you are doing on any given day. She is always positive, upbeat, and willing to lend a hand. – Leslie Thompson
Sharea Elliott is always there when I need her. She’s always on par when providing updates and making sure we are in order for what’s posted. Sharea was ready to hit the ground running and maintain organization every day! – Felicia Odie
Thank you to Louis Costagliola for his continued support with VA Billing. He is a great resource for the multiple billing platforms and his willingness to collaborate on billing issues is greatly appreciated. – Heather Ayote
A huge Chimes Cheer to Nicole Bridges for leading our new Operations Forum meetings with such grace, professionalism, and expertise. Her ability to guide discussions, bring clarity, and keep everyone engaged has made these sessions invaluable. We’re lucky to have her steering this initiative. I like to give a BIG CHEERS shoutout to my DSP Jael Escoto. She always going above the call of duty. Jael has been helping me out in covering shift and when ask to work at another home, she never hesitates. Jael is truly a team player. She’s truly appreciated at CASHO MILL. – Lafonda Bagby
Big shout out to Justin Waskall for the incredible way he leads tours at the Chimes School! Watching him interact with potential kiddos and their families is an inspiring reminder of our values in action—Caring, Empowered, Collaborative, Quality, and Fun. Tanya Chavous had an idea to raise $100 to provide school supplies for 25 of our program’s children. Through her tireless efforts she raised $1600, enough to get backpacks for all 107 of our young clients! I’d also like to thank Karla Castro and Keisha Rucker for their help, all the Upper Darby and residential staff for chipping in, and a special shout-out to Nicole Peterson for raising $1,000! I’m so grateful to work with all of you, your generosity and caring is a daily inspiration. – Lauren Flynn
High 5 to Alicia Felder for your tireless work on behalf of our clients, staff and programs. Your ability to get things done, such as editing the RFP (it was a late but productive night!), finding MH First Aid training, leaving great detailed email trails, juggling staff schedules and more, is really appreciated. I want to shout out Eriona Presnar for her guidance as I join the Chimes team. Her calm, confident, comprehensive approach has supported me in understanding the systems we use to service our supported adults. Staff did a great job to kept on encourage one of the individuals to participate go on rides of choices at Dorney Park PA for both 2 day 8/8 & 8/9. On behalf of 2101 Millstone, we thank Mechelle Tulsan for the patience and caring for the individuals. – Esther Olakunle
Grateful for the clinical staff in Easton as they all offer support and collaboration to build a strong team of mental health care providers. There is always respect and appreciation for feedback and insights shared. They are a safe place to use humor or share difficult feelings related to the load we carry daily. Rony Francois took the lead on getting additional Kaivacs operational for the BWI team. Being critically short on them due to repairs, Rony worked with several vendors to resource the parts required to get them operational bringing the total up to 7 from 3. – Mike Atkins
Maria Castillo has been filling in as the Andrews Project Manager along doing her normal duties as the Regional Operations Manager. Maria’s undertaking is not to be taken lightly; she has been putting in 60-70 hours a week to keep all of her customers happy. I want to personally thank Maria for the dedication and hard work she has done for well over a year. Thank you, Maria,! – Mike Atkins
Congratulations to Ezekiel Esezobor for being promoted from Shift Manager to Assistant Project Manager at BWI. His knowledge, experience, and leadership will move the overnight shift into the future. – Mike Atkins

I would like to recognize the outstanding teamwork and dedication demonstrated recently. Joseph Tucker, Kathy Hogan, Carolyn Flowers, Daniel Erdman, and Charles Wolz all took time out of their busy schedules to assist the Aberdeen Grounds Maintenance crew in cleaning up a courtyard after they had fallen behind due to weather. Their willingness to step in and support another team exemplifies true collaboration, leadership, and commitment to maintaining a high standard for our campus environment. – Denise Hughlett

Ms. Pat was one of the only people at LCW to welcome ALL the DSP’s & clients from Seton with open arms & kindness. She made sure everyone felt loved & apart of a family. October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! At Chimes, we’re proud to help thousands of people of varying abilities find meaningful jobs across the mid-Atlantic—from grocery stores and airports to military bases and retail locations.
While we’ve made great strides, people with disabilities remain an underutilized part of the workforce. Chimes is committed to creating even more opportunities so everyone who wants to work has the chance to succeed.
Growing Inclusion: Chimes Delaware Opens New Community Garden
This summer, Chimes Delaware celebrated the opening of our new community garden at the Irv & Phyllis Levin Employment Center in Millsboro! This collaborative project—made possible with partners including United Way of Delaware, Food Bank of Delaware, UD 4-H, and the Delaware Department of Agriculture—creates a welcoming space for adults with intellectual, autism, and co-occurring disabilities to connect, grow, and thrive together.
Chimes Holcomb’s COPE Program Honored in Chester County
Chimes Holcomb’s COPE (Community Outreach and Prevention Education) program was honored with a proclamation from the Chester County Commissioners! COPE helps connect people facing substance use challenges with treatment and resources. We’re grateful for our partners in Chester County who make this work possible.
Chimes Advocates in Washington for Disability Employment
Chimes participated in SourceAmerica’s Grass Roots Advocacy Conference in Washington, DC! People supported by Chimes met with congressional leaders to share how employment through the AbilityOne program has transformed their lives. Special thanks to SourceAmerica, our representatives, and longtime team member Tyrone Johns for lifting up these inspiring stories and advocating for more opportunities for people with disabilities.
